Okay, I guess I am supposed to share some things about myself and nominate my own recipients! So I am going to defy convention and do these in the reverse order. ^_^

There are so many other bloggers who I think are deserving of these awards, but these stand out in my mind right now.

Now, a bit about me:

22. Engaged to PH (pseudo-husband) for a year on Feb. 21 (!!). Coffee addict. Ellen Hopkins worshiper. Christopher Nolan enthusiast. Film scholar. Grad school dropout (though I prefer “post-poner”). Resides in TX but NOT a TX girl. And, most importantly, YA novelist and poet working on my third (or fourth?) novel, which I will begin pitching either in late March or early April (depending on when I finish).

Congratulations to the recipients! You all very much deserve both awards. ^_^ And thank you, again, to Brian Westbye, for seeing something in me and my work.
